These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items. By ordering goods from Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd, you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms which include an obligation to pay. When you submit an order to us on our website you will receive an email acknowledging your order and confirming that your payment has been accepted.

Your order is accepted when we dispatch the goods you have ordered and not before. An order dispatched email will follow. If your order is dispatched in more than one parcel you may receive separate order dispatched emails for each parcel and each order dispatched email and corresponding dispatch will conclude a separate contact of sale between us for the product(s) specified in that order dispatched email.

The contents of this website are the property of Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd or its suppliers and are protected by UK and international copyright laws. These contents include but are not limited to the following: Website design, graphics, text, visual clips, audio clips, logo’s and button icons, including the selection and arrangement thereof. Portions of this website may be copied electronically or printed in hard copies for the purpose of placing an order with Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd. Any other use of this website, without prior permission of Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd is strictly prohibited. All rights reserved.

Customers who shop online must be aged 18 years or over. We accept payment by credit card (Mastercard/Visa), Debit cards (Maestro/visa) through our payment provider Sage Pay.* By placing an order with us, the customer authorises Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd to process their payment for the total amount of the order prior to the dispatch of the goods to the customers delivery address.

*By using Sage Pay to pay for your order, the customer confirms that the card details are theirs and are authorised to use. All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by their card issuer. 3D Secure is a payment verification protocol (branded as 'MasterCard® Secure Code' and 'Verified by Visa'). If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment, your order will not be accepted. Nor will we be obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal and we will not be liable for the order not being accepted.

Basis of Sale

The descriptions of the Goods on our website does not create a contractual offer to sell the Goods. When an order has been submitted on the website, we have the right to reject it, although we will attempt to tell you the reason(s) as soon prior to the order being submitted. The order process is completed through the checkout phase and allows the customer to check and amend any errors before submitting the order. It is your responsibility to check that you have used the ordering process correctly. A Contract will be formed for the sale of Goods ordered only when you receive an email from us confirming the order (order confirmation). You must ensure that the order confirmation is complete and accurate and inform us immediately of any errors. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the order placed by you.

Goods - Price of Goods

The description of the goods is as set out in the Website, catalogues, brochures or other form of advertisement. Any description is for illustrative purposes only and there may be small discrepancies in the size and colour of the Goods supplied. In the case of any goods made to your special requirements, it is your responsibility to ensure that any information or specification you provide is accurate. All goods which appear on the Website are subject to availability. We can make changes to the Goods which are necessary to comply with any applicable law or safety requirement. We will notify you of these changes.

The price of the Goods and any additional delivery or other charges is that set out on the Website at the date of the Order or such other price as we may agree in writing. Prices and charges include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the Order. You must pay by submitting your credit or debit card details with your Order and will be processed once we have received payment for your order.


Delivery can only be made to addresses within the mainland UK via this website. If, however, we accept an order for delivery outside that area, you may need to pay import duties or other taxes prior to your order being processed and we therefore recommend you contact us for this to be approved / arranged via our mail order department during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 9-5, 01227 731195)

With our standard delivery service (excluding large equipment) you should receive your goods within 3-7 days. Please note some products may take longer than 7 days to be delivered, inparticular large equipment could take up to six weeks to be delivered. We may contact you upon receiving your enquiry or order to confirm. Dependent on stock availability you agree we may deliver the Goods in instalments in the event of low availability or another genuine reason.

If you or your nominee fail, through no fault of ours, to take delivery of the goods at the delivery location, we may charge the reasonable costs of storing and redelivering them. The goods will become your responsibility from the completion of delivery or customer collection. You must, if reasonably practicable, examine the goods before accepting them.

Postage and packaging will be charged at a minimum of £8.95 per order.

Right to cancel

The customer may withdraw their order prior to dispatch and would be refunded the full amount subject to the order cancellation being within 7 days of the order being submitted with Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd. The cancellation period will expire after 7 days from the day of order of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by a clear statement setting out your decision by phone (Monday-Friday 9-5, 01227 731195). To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

If products have been dispatched, carriage charges will not be refunded and the customer must arrange and pay for the return carriage. A refund of delivered products will be made once they have arrived back with us and have been checked to be in acceptable condition and in original, undamaged packaging.

Damages – Returns – Faulty Products

When you receive your goods, it is imperative that the parcel(s) is checked for damages whilst the delivery driver is still present. If parcel is found to be damaged do not accept delivery. Nothing in these terms shall require the customer to break packaging and/or unpack goods, which are intended to be sorted before use but it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that we are notified with in 5 days of receipt, by telephone/email, of any claims for damage / faulty / incorrect product.

If the customer does not give notice within 5 days the goods will be deemed to have been delivered to the customers satisfaction and the customer shall not be entitled and will waive any right to reject the goods or claim any damages whatsoever for short delivery howsoever caused.

The customer must contact us within 7 days of the order being placed to return products that are not faulty / damaged / incorrect. Refunds will only be made to the original method of payment account.

*Please note some stock clearance items and packaging may be damaged but are still in full working condition.


We are a supplier who stands by the products we sell, we believe all products to be at good quality, durable and reliable but in the event of the customer having any issues / concerns we would like the customer to have confidence that Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd would strive to rectify any problem to an acceptable and agreeable standard to the customer.*

Please note that any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, alterations or improper installation caused by the customer (excluding the delivery driver) would be the responsibility of the customer and thus the customer would be liable.

*Should any product you purchase from us prove to be unsatisfactory in use due to defective workmanship or faulty material, we will repair it, replace it with an equivalent product (if available), or give you a full refund.

Tax Charges

VAT will be applied to all orders delivered within the UK at the current rate.

Privacy Policy – Cookies – Security – Data Protection

When you order we will ask for your name, email address and delivery address. These details will enable us to process your order and contact you in the event of any queries. We will also ask for your telephone number, so that we can contact you urgently if necessary in the event of any problem with your order. We will communicate with you by e-mail, telephone or letter.

You are protected by the Autoquip (GB) Garage Equipment Ltd security guarantee (SSL Certificate) when you shop with us. We use industry standard security software to encrypt all your personal information including payment details so that it cannot be read when the information is sent over the Internet. We do not disclose customer’s information to third parties, other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment.

Cookies are used on this website to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
